Hisa and I got a TV and a Nintendo Wii this weekend.
We got them from someone who is leaving Houston soon and wanted to sell them. Although they’re used, they’re only 2 years old and in really good shape.
We also got a bunch of Wii games as well, including Super Mario Bros. Wii.
Hisa and I ended up playing Mario both Saturday and Sunday, and let me just say, it was intense…
Between fighting off all manner of exploding, spiky, flame-throwing, boomerang flinging bad guys, while trying to keep each other alive, it was like a team building exercise, survival training, and crisis management all in one.
You might think playing Wii games sounds nice and like a relaxing pastime for a couple, right?
Something like this…

Look how relaxing that is! Right? Right?!
The game got so intense as we battled our way through World 2 and 3, it ended up being more like this…

Without the headset thing, and with two people like that instead of just one.
Our neighbors probably thought we were being slowly murdered.
I have to say though…
It was pretty awesome.
