Menu Plan Monday for July 30 – Aug. 3

A picture from the weekend…

I don’t think we’re in Oklahoma anymore Toto…

At the parks and rivers here, you can find signs like this one. From what I’ve heard, it’s quite common to see alligators around here, but we haven’t seen one yet… Part of me wants to see one, but the other part of me thinks that part of me is insane and only wants to see an alligator in the safety of a zoo.

I’ve never thought of alligators as “free-ranging” before, but okay, sure, why not? Next time I order alligator at a restaurant (yes, they do serve it here), I’ll make sure to ask if it was a free-range alligator or not.

Menu Plan Monday for July 30 – Aug. 3:

Mon: gyoza (pot stickers), steamed rice, miso soup, and stir-fried green beans

Tues: egg, sausage, and cheese bread and tomato soup

Wed: pasta with vodka sauce and shrimp and tossed salad

Thurs: Zucchini pie, fried okra, and cauliflower fritters

Fri: Leftovers
